colorblind-Accessible
smart fridge
the challenge

When was the last time you saw an accessible feature for colorblind individuals? Other than corrective glasses...

The Product

Smart Fridges: the newest technology is finally in your kitchen. The leading one in the market, Samsung, is more accessible than most. With the rise of competitors, Samsung needs something to set them apart.

our solution

Customization. Users need to be able to customize their fridge to their needs, not just put it in grayscale. To do this, they need our new Colorblind-Assist technology, that saturates colors and makes the screen easier to read.

The medium

An Instagram Story that demonstrates the difference in colorblindness on regular smart fridge versus our feature.

An out-of-home advertisement on a grocery cart, for stores like Costco, that sell refrigerators.

A radio advertisement, to be played on streaming platforms such as Spotify and Pandora.

Creative brief

Target Audience: 25-34 year old, upper middle class males, known as the Cool-Tone Consumer.

Creative Direction: Cool-Tone Consumers should not have to sacrifice their perception of color for accessibility.

Slogan: See it your way.

See it your way!

What if it were animated?
So Much better!

The advertisement shows how unreadable the average smart fridge is for colorblind individuals, specifically for deuteranopia. Deuteranopia is red-green colorblindness.

Believe it, or not, the feature actually works!
"Yeah, 'see it now'
is easier to read."
